Harrison William Bradford was born on December 12, 2005, in Dallas, Texas — a miracle baby whose arrival was celebrated by his family from the very start. He passed away on May 22, 2026, at just 20 years old, leaving behind a life that, though short, touched everyone who knew him.
Family
Harrison was the beloved son of Steven Dale Bradford and Katrina Marie Posta Bradford, and the proud older brother of Charlton O’Neal Bradford. He was cherished by his paternal grandmother, Mary Bradford, and his maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Posta, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill R. Bradford.
Early Life and Education
Harrison grew up in Dallas, where his love of learning showed itself early. As a child, he couldn’t get enough of books — his family recalls reading to him constantly, and once he was old enough, he became a regular at the library, always bringing home more stories to devour.
He attended Robert Hyer Elementary, Highland Park Middle School, and Highland Park High School, graduating with honors in May 2024.
Life at Texas A&M
From a young age, everyone around Harrison knew he was destined to be an Aggie. He bled maroon, following in the footsteps of family members before him, and enrolled at Texas A&M University to study Political Science at the Bush School of Government & Public Service. He made the Dean’s List every single semester and had just completed his sophomore year at the time of his passing.
At Texas A&M, Harrison found a true home in the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Texas Mu Chapter, where he was an active and devoted brother. Some of his happiest moments over his final two years were spent with his fraternity brothers — cheering on the Aggies at football, basketball, and baseball games, competing together in intramural sports, and hosting a weekly Bible study at his home in College Station.
This past summer, Harrison was building toward his future through internships at CBRE and the law firm of Walls, Landry, Baker, and Oliver.
A Life That Left Its Mark
In just twenty years, Harrison managed to leave a lasting impression on his family, friends, and community. He is remembered as someone who loved deeply, studied earnestly, and showed up fully for the people and causes he cared about — his faith, his fraternity brothers, his Aggie pride, and his family above all.
Services
A Visitation was held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Sparkman Hillcrest, 7450 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225. A Celebration of Life followed on Saturday, May 30, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at Preston Road Church of Christ, 6409 Preston Road, University Park, TX 75205, with a graveside service immediately after.
In Lieu of Flowers
In Harrison’s honor, his family has asked that donations be made to the Sig Ep Education Foundation, directed toward the construction of an education and leadership training facility for the Texas A&M Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
